Our Work.

Taawon UK works to support the Palestinian people on their land and in their diaspora.

We do this by funding initiatives that promote the resiliency and wellbeing of individuals and communities. Our core focus is on development and capacity building, however we work to provide humanitarian relief in moments of crisis.

Our ISNAD programme is providing scholarships for 15,000 students to graduate from the three major universities in Gaza to finish their studies. In turn, this allows universities to pay for staff and helps to keep these institutions alive.

You can sponsor one semester for £400 or a whole year for £800.

Emergency Relief

Humanitarian relief

EmergencyRelief-1

GAZAEmergencyAppeal

With the ongoing assault on Gaza, much of our work has turned to funding emergency relief efforts. Millions of people are displaced and surviving without basic necessities.

We are working with 9 organisations on the ground to provide aid wherever it is needed.

Lebanon Emergency Appeal

Despite the “ceasefire,” thousands of people in Lebanon are unable to return to their homes following the latest assault.

Taawon Lebanon is providing critical support in the form of food and non-food vouchers, winterisation, and emergency healthcare (e.g. kidney dialysis) for internally displaced Palestinian refugees.
